Calogero Jerik Scozzaro
I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Turin currently working on Natural Language Processing and Legal Text Analysis. My research focuses on studying text readability and comprehension through various computational approaches, with a particular emphasis on legal documents.
I work with Professor Daniele Radicioni and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team combining expertise in computer science, linguistics, and law. My current projects involve analyzing reading patterns through eye-tracking data and developing methods to assess and improve the accessibility of legal texts.
I'm particularly interested in how we can use computational methods to make legal documents more understandable to different types of readers. My recent work includes developing reader profiling techniques based on eye-tracking data and conducting readability analyses of constitutional texts. Through this research, I aim to bridge the gap between complex legal language and public comprehension, ultimately contributing to more accessible legal documentation.
